The Ventura County Asian American Bar Association (“VCAABA”) was established in February 2005, in response to the growth of the Asian American population in the County (according to the latest demographics, over 58,000) and the number of Asian American attorneys in Ventura County.
MISSION STATEMENT
- Providing legal assistance and community outreach to Asian Americans living and working in Ventura County;
- Seeking the appointment of the first Asian American judge in Ventura County;
- Sponsoring interesting programs focusing on prominent Asian American judges, attorneys and community leaders who have opened the door to more opportunities for Asian American attorneys; and
- Hosting networking events locally and with established bar associations throughout the state and nationwide.
In furtherance of these goals, VCAABA has carried on the strong tradition of supporting and promoting programs that help achieve diversity in the legal profession.
