VCAABA was honored to have Associate Justice of the California Supreme Court, Ming W. Chin speak on October 22, 2005. Justice Ming gave a stirring speech after a great dinner at the Embassy Suites Hotel Mandalay Beach Resort Oxnard

There were over 80 attendees, including the entire panel from the local Court of Appeals. Justice Chin made a special trip out to Oxnard just to speak for VCAABA. We truly appreciate his efforts. Justice Chin spoke about his childhood in California, and the challenges he faced as an Asian American growing up in California, and the hurdles he had to jump to get where he is today.
Justice Chin also spoke extensively about his agenda for bringing the Courts into the 21st Century by computerizing every step of appeals process.
