MY JOURNEY THROUGH VIET NAM

Tina Rasnow spoke on how foreign travel can teach us cultural diversity lessons to better improve our ability to relate to, and serve, diverse populations in California. Ms. Rasnow wanted to help equip attorneys to integrate opportunities for cultural exchange into their travel so they can better improve their communication skills with diverse co-workers and clients.

Ms. Rasnow is a coordinator of the Ventura County Superior Court Self-Help Legal Access Center. She serves on the California Judicial Council’s Task Force on Self-Represented Litigants and its Access and Fairness Advisory Committee. She currently chairs the State Bar Standing Committee on the Delivery of Legal Services. Ms. Rasnow was a past president of the Ventura County Bar Association, and has received numerous awards, including the Ben E. Nordman Public Service Award (1999) and the State Bar President’s Pro Bono Service Award (1996).
