October 29, 2007 – Las Posas Country Club, Camarillo
On October 29, 2007, the Ventura County Asian American Bar hosted the first annual VCAABA Classic Golf Tournament. In attendance at the Las Posas Country Club were a full field of local attorneys and business owners who came to play a round of golf, enjoy refreshments, socialize, and network. The $25,000 hole-in-one cash prize had no takers. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners took home cash prizes of $900!
The money raised from this event goes toward a scholarship fund for law students, which is intended to encourage and promote the pursuit of future public interest work relating to the Asian American community and the community as a whole. Thanks to the group effort of our sponsors, participants and volunteers, this event was a great success!
