VCAABA President Mark Fang attended the 19th Annual NAPABA Convention in exciting Las Vegas. According to Mark, it was a very encouraging and high spirited event. Distinguished keynote speakers included California Supreme Court Justice Ming Chin, California State Controller John Chiang, and Yul Kwon (the winner of "Survivor: Cook Islands"). Mark also met some other familiar and notable faces at the Convention, including U.S. District Court Senior Judge Ronald Lew and California State Bar Board of Governor Ruthe Ashley. Next year's Convention will be in Seattle, WA, and Mark is hoping to attend and represent VCAABA again.
